History, State And Finishes
The origins of the villa date back to the period between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. In 1892 it was bought by Elena Aganoor, sister of the famous poet Vittoria Aganoor, and was therefore the site of numerous stays of the poetess during her visits to her sister. Tarcento at the time was a sought-after resort, valued by many writers who loved living, staying, meeting and sitting here and who created the "Pearl" of the twentieth century.
The villa is built on a rock foundation, which ensures a remarkable solidity to the structure. Over time the roof and a second wing have been added to the original castle.
The property has undergone a restructuring operation consisting in the reconstruction of the roof according to the most modern insulation techniques and the interiors have been completely repainted. However, the architectural features of the time remain unchanged.
