The condominium Borgo Jacopone is situated at the crest of a hill in the Umbrian countryside. The newly built hamlet is set up as a spacious but small resort with a few owners living there year round as well. The soft yellow plaster and large open spaces make it a sunny place even throughout the winter. Ancient yet bustling student city Perugia is 30 km away and many more fascinating cities and sites lie at a convenient day trip distance. Umbria is known for its many quaint hilltop hamlets. In one of them, Piedicolle,  hides a little rough diamond. A 1600's home that has been structurally redone and now needs to be finished. It is a true gem for many reasons: the house comes with a large garden and view! the still flaunts its original character with many old features though there are various steps the house is all on one level the hamlet is picturesque, well maintained as well as very livable the location is nice and central The house The entrance is located just off one of the alleys cutting through the hamlet. A little gate leads to an entrance with the house to the left and a pretty staircase leading up to other apartments (for sale as well, ask us for info!). The large open space lies a few steps down and is dominated by an archway in the center of the ceiling. To the right two impressive and authentic brick column give way to a vaulted space with access to the terrace and garden. In the back of the central space a vaulted hallway leads down to two cellars. To the left another hallway leads past a possible future bathroom, and gives access to two bedrooms and one further bathroom. One of those bedrooms can also be reconnected to the center space. This  creates for example the possibility for a large open kitchen. To the left of the entrance is yet another room which can be used as study, kitchen, storage or even bedroom.
