This villa was probably built in the first half of the 17th century as a hunting lodge for the Silvestri marquises. The villa is first reliably mentioned from 1815. In 1865 lawyer Celso Ciccolini of Loreto purchased the entire property, and the current building represents a radical restructuring carried out in 1887 to the designs of the Macerata engineer Pietro Collina.
