The Compitese, located on the slopes of the Lucca side of the Monti Pisani, is known and loved for the typical stone houses, the mills built on impetuous streams, the narrow and cobbled streets, the gardens of the austere villas, rich in fragrant Camellia plants. Right in the heart of an ancient village, this elegant and refined typical Tuscan residence is sold. On the ground floor there is a covered patio, ideal for outdoor dining during the summer: the entrance is into the living room, flanked by the large kitchen connected to a pantry / laundry room and bathroom, and a more intimate living room with fireplace and Tuscan oven. The comfortable staircase allows you to reach the first floor, where there are three bedrooms, each with an exclusive bathroom. The second floor also houses three bedrooms, all with bathroom: of the six total rooms present, two also enjoy an intimate living room. Where possible, the original beams have been recovered, otherwise replaced with new wooden beams.
The two houses overlook the private garden, made very discreet by the presence of a stone wall and accessible both from a pedestrian gate and from a driveway: with a small car you can get to the house, while a public parking is available a few meters away. Included in the sale a land of about 4000 square meters, not far from the property, where private parking can be arranged. All around there are other stone houses and in the background the Monte Pisano, where the wise, old olive tree and the refined, ancient camellia indicate two keys to reading a territory still intact and fascinating in its simplicity.
