Sarnico is now one of the most attractive tourist resorts on Lake Iseo, the town still retains a medieval structure in a semi-circle to the layout of the ancient city walls.

Sarnico is renowned for its lively streets, especially at the weekend when all the local inhabitants frequent its many bars, restaurants, shops and ice cream parlours. Each Thursday there is a colourful and bustling market in the main square and most weekends it is the heart of any event or festival in this area.
